maybe death does not come for you to destroy but to take charge to lick the hurt parts of you and to lay hands on your painful heartaches and overall easing what ails you suppresses our weeping to float o'er you and cuddle eventually set you free past the nuisance of remembering past or imperfections and the mishmash of your jumbled lives and give you blessed peace for evermore ©November 14, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

your gentle touch to the harsh reality is a great way to accept it for those like me that have a difficult time with the thought of nevermore |

By Jove man, I think you've got it! First and foremost, you get to leave behind that cumbersome bag of flesh we call a body. (woohoo!) Dying is easy, it is the living that is hard. And you, my friend, like the others here on the blue pages, will live on in their words.I don't believe you have to "believe in God" to go to "heaven". I believe if you seek a "greater understanding" you will find it. And it seems to me that is exactly the path you are on my friend. |

Thank you, Lori. Yes, I've begun to send my thoughts to other possibilities concerning love, life and most assuredly death. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Jerry, you have it right. I sat by the side of my mom, my Dad and my husband.I was called to find daughter already dead. I had a few great friends whose time had also come. And I so agree, in each case it was time for release and freedom from pain of one kind or another. This was appreciated as it is so correct. Jo |

Oh my, Jo, such heartbreak you have had. Good gracious. Thank you very much for the extra kind words you have given me today on my poem. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Ok so i was watching a program about people who went to heaven...and came Back. One biker guy explains how peaceful it was...and says to others who have passed away..."you lucky sucker" I like to think heaven is our ultimate destiny where we settle in to that elusive peaceful eternal home that is born in our soul. wonderful work JP. |

That is a good way of putting it, Blue, "born in our soul." I don't think I will ever be sold on the Heaven and the all-knowing, all-seeing God. But I can be sold on it described by the biker, and he didn't use the God word. Thank you for a most enjoyable comment. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |
