Winter Lust

When did the coldness steal the star light
Before I mourned the loss of summer?

Even the day is as cold as night

When light refracts across the horizon
The snow becomes brighter than sunlight

My thoughts on the seasons, I think we should only have autumn and spring, really. I hate summer. I hate winter. Guess I need to move to San Diego. I think their mean temperature is in the upper seventies.

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.

Yes! You really captured it for me here! I am miserable in the heat so the cold I can deal with. (ice is Satan's spawn) But you can not compare the crystalline beauty of the season with any other, it stands alone.

Beautifully thought provoking, it makes me a little more willing to deal with the current snow storms

So true! I highly enjoyed your beautiful "Winter Lust", it makes me long for white covered landscapes ...
