Tick tick tick

watch time move
watch the promise
of the towering wave, withering now
resorbing within itself

struggling as it etches
along the wide eyed blue
trickling into mere foam

you and I watch
our profiles now cloud cluttered shadows
slipping within it all

we know don't we?

Ahhh, I know I'm not the one you spoke to in your wonderful poem, but when you said . . .
quote:
you and I watch
our profiles now cloud cluttered shadows
slipping within it all

I emphasized and related to it completely . . .

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.
