She stands away
Her eyes flash
Bright cuts the night
I once could have loved
Dreamt that dream
Walked that path
Kissed the hand
Wooed her
Made her mine
Now those days
That past me
that long ago soul
remembered and lauded
Merely sat as audience
Looks over at her too
Perhaps she is beauty
Perhaps she is trancendant
But to me she is the other
