Why she cheated is unknown
But, love was by her shown
Her deep affection, I did own
She left making me moan

In her love, I had trust
I was in every way honest
Mine was love, not lust
Why she lost fully interest?

After moving closely for days
She at last supplied disgrace
I couldn't follow her ways
Suddenly, love, I couldn't trace

She came in my life like a shine
Her love was pure and divine
I thought pure luck was mine
Why to leave, she did opine?

God alone knows the secret
My heart was soft like velvet
No love finally I could get
I must now sadly just regret

Decades back she left
Still I feel damn bereft
My joy has had theft
Why she formed a rift?

I pray for my peace of mind
As solace, I couldn't find
Why she was mentally blind
And suddenly so unkind?

We can never, it seems, understand the "leaving" when it pertains to us, mvvenkataraman.

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.
