           Beyond the Clouds

Dance beneath a crystalline sky
   of tremulous stars
as a grand night moon rides
the high-twilight wind across
a thousand miles of Autumn
passing through mountains of
   immortal Time
Protect the purity of your search
for ‘truth;’ and be as this silver
river flowing ever steadfastly
toward the glittering sea of
your finest dreams with Love
as your one true compass.
Let your lithesome spirit-heart
roam beyond the clouds a lifetime
   long.

I have walked my chosen Zen Tao (path of 'enlightenment') for a very long time. I believe the hardest task
for any of us is likely doing the difficult work of introspection and inner transformation into 'who' and 'how'
we really want to 'be.' Hopefully, wisdom is garnered via that 'inner journey' and by careful observation,
respect, and appreciation of/for all others and everything around us. Thank you for your most kind comment
on this ever-so-humble lil' 'poetic scribble!'
