.

Skyblue walls and yellow curtains
Glowing clouds outside the window
Skies on fire - it’s my place
Now I live in Hell
One day you have told it’s certain
You will stay with me forever
Anytime, in any space
Guess how deep I fell

All my things remain in chaos
All my words - far from the purpose
All devices in my flat
Show different time
Do you like my pretty house
Will you share with me my madness
Would you choose to watch the set
Through the window rime

If you want to be my promised
We will live in here together
Maybe find it not so bad
Even have some fun
In the coldest, in the warmest
In the best realm of ever
With the aimed at my head
Barrel of a gun

Here I am with all my keenness
Shouting, swearing, loving, laughing
Working hard, forgetting sleep
Crying for the real
Of the suffering of sinners
Heat is born in this reactor
And somebody has to weep
Tears onto the wheel

Someone must produce the power
To supply The Garden of Eden
To protect the godly world
From the cosmic frost
Good would die within an hour
If not being compared to Evil
Pain is always to be sold
At the greatest cost

Won’t you leave me
Are you ready
To exchange your golden palace
For a cell amidst the sleet
For my timid kiss
Let’em fly and  keep them steady
They are saint, but I’m not jealous
Here we’re allowed to eat
Candies after six

Superb writing, Gale. This poem has a "zing" in each and every line. I was spellbound, and that doesn't happen to me often. We read so many poems, that if we are not careful they lose their meanings. This sad poem has just made my day. Thank you for that.

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.

This is exceptional writing, captivating like an encrypted mirror of your soul.

Jerry, Margherita, thank you for such warm comments!
I'm touched deeply.

Excuse me that I couldn't reply earlier.
I've been "working hard" and couldn't gather my wits )

They're right, this is captivating. I'm not really a fan of long winding writing, but this held my attention. Enjoyed.

I felt, with you, every word, image and pain of this sad, but exquisite poem, Galina.

How anyone could not want to stay with you beats me my friend.  Like everyone who posted before me --- this was excellent.

very much enjoyed reading...

I thought it was great too. Your wording was complex without being confusing. Good job!!
