funny crazy
and half insane

isn't that the
way the the games
played

a roll of the dice
a flip of the card

they always said that
she hardly tries

wondering again'
if the tale ever ends

changing the tale
to begin again

ace is high
and your low in
the hole

nothing to wager
less the devil get your soul

folding on your last dime
giving up isn't always a crime

deceit yourself
as the barren lay cold
and all along
fearing what you don't know
shooting blanks
as the fragile egg breaks

a forlorn misfortune
and accept defeat
now I wash my hands

growing weary of
your Pete and Repeat

are you hands clean
now....???
as you pretend to care?

same dance to a different song
can't decide who's right or wrong

the sage once said
what is said is said

drawing the line where
black meets red

Kickass poetry in my view, kingsangel. Keep writing. Watch others. But in the end, be yourself completely. I liked "ol girl."

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.
