I know a man who thinks it is a shame,
That he is devoid of fortune and fame.
His wretched life cannot be called complete,
Until he is on the cover of Newsweek.

But William is a smart cookie, you know,
He understands how destiny's wind blows.
There is only one thing keeping him down
He hasn't a cause to shout over town.

Inside his house with all the curtains shut,
William maps out and plots what's in his gut.
Visions of Oprah and scripts for TV,
He got so excited he had to pee.

The very next day William showed us all,
He was no dunce, had something on the ball.
At high noon, like an old fashioned western,
He showed up at Town Hall with a small urn.

When he lifted the lid he just said "Hah!
Here are the ashes of Jimmy Hoffa."
Pointing to the urn, the whole world to see,
"Sift through it all and you might find the key."

Well!  William sure showed us he was no rube,
In two days time he was on the boob tube.
Telling the whole wide world that in due course,
He would eventually tell us his source.

Taking a page from the Al Capone vault,
William's idea was to hoodwink us all.
Remembering Geraldo's claim to fame,
He decided that he would do the same.

William was a glad soul knowing the day
Was near, why he even had pay-for-play.
The world anxiously awaited the news,
About Hoffa's sad and unsolved adieu.

William was sitting on top of the world,
Into cultured upper crust he was hurled.
The ashes would be tested for their clues,
We would soon find out what Hoffa went through.

The two janitors cleaning up backstage,
Found those ashes, didn't know how to gage.
When William came to get his valued stash,
Found out the two stoned guys had smoked his ash.

LOL Jerry! I am enjoying these "oldies but goodies" you have been posting lately. You really have a comical side that is quite fun.
Good morning silly man!
