gOOd  heal th out of sinc
heavy to the metal
just can't think
gotta read gotta read
small print ink

nerves a-twitching
hives  were itching
Docs conflicting!
Scientific or whole?
Gotta read, gotta read

“Don't be a sheep”
the doc said to me
Scientific Research
the place to leap!
Holistic medicine
Need not compete.

But the truth of it is
They both offer advice
“Donate a pint” one says
The other, “Receive a pint”.
Which one is right?
Maybe both?

Gotta read, got the need
Needle some how...

~~~~~~~~~~
Perhaps, I should think about a career in medicine after all the research I've been doing to find out how not to become a helpless sheep!  No, no medical career desired here!  It's too much work!   I admire those who aspire to continually study and learn, while assisting impatient patients like myself.
My dear Misc, your write brings complex thoughts, besides a comprehensive smile. Through Internet we have gained access to  incredibly vast information and often we go to the doctor well informed about the different aspects of our medical situation. They don't like it too much, but of course it is as you so pertinently say, some research here and there is not enough to compete with the long years of studying and practicing of those who have the title. Holistic approach is in my belief also a wonderful opportunity, besides the scientific one.
And I believe we should trust more our own body's healing ability. It is amazing.
I enjoyed reading your poetic outpour, my dear friend. And thank you for stirring my thoughts.
Love and hugs.
Too much information isn't always a good thing. This was a cool poem and unique subject matter.   Good fun!!
Bluesy,
   It's good to hear from you again.   It seems I rarely visit anymore.  So busy just taking care...so it seems!   I think you are right about all the information offered on the internet.   There is much conflicting research on what I read about this particular aspect of health.  Thanks for commenting and reminding me not to become overly immersed in trying to learn something that took the professions years of training and experience to learn!
