You did such a wonderful job here, dear Jerry! My knowledge of Poe's work may be poor, but I got your message and I would say I hope he got it too. What you say sounds so true.  We can forgive ourselves, trusting the laws of love to work for us and with us. Of course we have all our times of darkness, but mostly we find a way out. To have someone close who cares is of great help.

I think Mr. Poe enjoyed your kind invitation and your reasoning, after all he is not the same as he was as you state correctly. And by now he must have had the grace to see the Light.

Thank you very much, Margherita. I know that forgiving ones self works personally. Since that day of forgiving I began to understand much, much more about myself and why I did all those things that needed forgiving. I am still learning.
