Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Brindle kitten, Brindle kitten
with the innocent eyes
How you’ve taken this house by surprise
You pounce on anything that moves
Sharp tiny claws leaving grooves
in unfortunate skin
You are a little black blur
rumping across the room with your brindle fur
all puffed out again
Brindle kitten, Brindle kitten
with the innocent eyes
how you've taken my heart by surprise

They have a habit of doing that, Lori. Kittens and puppies just gives us feel good feelings, and in return they cause us to think of life as a fun time instead of the other kind. Oh, thank you for your upbeat comment on my "down" poem this morning,

~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~

We have the kitten temporarily until she is old enough to be spade and then she can go back to the owner's apartment. Meanwhile she is wrecking hilarious havoc here at home. Our yellow cat is not a happy camper but is getting used to the little interloper. We are all sporting kitten scratches as she likes to try to climb us like trees and attack our ankles when we walk.
You are welcome for the pick me up, my friend, you would do the same for me.

Nothing like a kitten to liven things up.

oh Ida! You aren't kidding! I swear the little imp is into everything! Getting me in shape for when the new grand baby becomes a toddler...

Oh yes! This particular joy linked to the kitten is wonderfully rendered here, dear Lori!

Playfulness has always a healing effect, despite scratches on the surface of our skins!

So lovely.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks Margherita!
I'm amazed at my patience. Especially when somebody left the bedroom door open and she got in and got all 4 paws in wet paint!

Thanks Gale!
I love this little cutie like a grand child...I'll be happy when it goes home to its real mamma and life can get back to normal...Me and the yellow cat can go back to napping in the recliner together.
