Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2014-09-16 08:27 AM

I have murmured to you
in those tender times
of gentleness
In that drowsy
before dreams come
I have left my breath
on your neck
in my contentedness
Peaceful sleep comes gently
wrapped in your arms
Dawn draws me
from sweet oblivion
into the awareness
of your warmth
and a longing
for lingering

Thanks Southern! I like that you used the word "gentle". Now that you have used it, it occurred to me that is exactly the tone I was going for.
