When I was a lad of ten,
I worked all day and saved,
The dollar that I'd earned
For a rainy day.

I kept it 'neath my pillow,
And I swear this is the truth,
Woke up in the morning
My dollar became a tooth.

Something wrong with me I guess...all I ever got was a quarter or two . . .

and felt rich at the time.

I mean . . . something I was going to lose anyway, and I got paid for it!!
