          Divergent Roads

Dissolve all past and future worries
in the resplendent ‘now’
(this delicate moment held in
  ‘deep-Time' suspension).

Let your mind float free
as an empty cloud
along the farthest edges
of this sunset Earth.

Wander these late Summer
woods of fine verdant dreams
(with subtle hints of Autumn)
where murmuring mountain
  streams
of a most radiant purity,
speak softly to the soul
in Nature’s ‘voice’ ...
that true ‘happiness’ lies
within any mind and
heart freely given to
the untamed spirit of
  the wilderness.

Follow the least traveled Tao
  of cosmic enlightenment,
in awe and simple celebration of
the ever-evolving and infinitely
diverse wonder and complexity
of this boundless Universe!

Hello SHDP,

Quite fond of this overlooked writing of yours.

In particular:
quote:
"true ‘happiness’ lies within any mind and heart"

and also your close:
quote:
Follow the least traveled Tao of cosmic enlightenment, in awe and simple celebration of the ever-evolving and infinitely diverse wonder and complexity
of this boundless Universe!

Thank you tickle fingers for bringing this gem back. I read when I can and love Bruce's words. To day they are once again especially meaningful to me as I have a large plate to fill and some will even spill over to the floor. But with this reminder I once again will  carry on and do what needs be done. Thank you Bruce for your insightful and beautiful words .
