          The Loch of Time
          (a brief tribute to
            the beloved land
            of my ancestors,
              Scotland)

At this vast triumvirate interface
of land, lake, and endless sky,
‘now’ is but a ethereal ripple
   of infinite whimsy
along the boundless, starry edge of
endless space and deepest time,
where each dawning day shall dance
with ten million latest mysteries
of Nature, life, love, and  countless
ancestral spirits that roam this
ancient land of 'standing stones.'

WEll I always read you and enjoy your thoughts..but but but you say being a poet is  a curse..You have left because no one replies to you and yet you are here at pip and rarely take time to acknowledge those who read and reply to your work...a simple thanks or smiley face goes a long way. ...so i just wanted you to know you are a fine poet but I'm done trying to support and encourage you..i wish the guidelines had some sort of stipulation about acknowledging those who make time to keep the wheels turning other than being so caught up in their own work. Phew..i feel better now..I think.

I have thanked each and everyone who replied on many of my 'writes' ... but certainly not every write. If somehow I missed you specifically and completely, I'm quite sorry!;  however, I'm 'buried' alive with health and other 'personal problems' and simply cannot respond individually to each and every reply on every 'write.' Sorry for whatever time you may feel that you have wasted in commenting on my 'pennings!'

Bruce, so sorry to read this. You have always been a special person in my mind.I do not need a reply to everything I write and I really never heard you say you did not want to write because you did not receive replies. (Someone else here did say that).I read your post differently and asked you to please continue to write, and post.

Bluesy,I love your poetry but I am not here all the time to answer every one either. Sometimes I just read a bit and sign out In fact most are above my head and I cannot reply with words to do a poem justice so I shy away. No one really expects a lot of replies although it is nice when it comes. Just my opinion I love this place.l hope to see it come back and thrive as it used to. best to you both,Jo

Dear Bruce, I love your poetry and always read it even if I don't comment. Like you, I have reasons why I can't comment on each and every poem but I appreciate every one of the poets on this sight. Just keep writing and I'll keep reading.
