Fair to middlin' of nowhere

She has captivated me from the start,
born pure and innocent as the dove.
What is this new sensation in my heart?
Who is this new creation that I love?
What started as a man and a lover,
became a relationship oh so rare.
She is now a most devoted mother
He loves them as much as his heart can bear
Now that they have gone from two to three,
their love is stronger than it was before.
Was destiny that made them family.
Love fills their hearts, they need not ask for more.
An angel incarnate named Heidi Faye,
she brings such love with her every day.

Yes! Something very different for you, and a superb first sonnet out of the gate and looking good. Such love shows through within the lines of this beautiful sonnet. Good to see you break out and try something different.

Once I got started it wasn't so bad after all!
The topic made it easier. Thanks.

Thanks JO!
It is so gratifying to see my son go from a miserable bachelor to a very happy family man.
No worries, they are on solid ground.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not biased about my first grandchild and she really is a super-cutie. Oh and I'm kinda proud of my first sonnet too.

'she brings such love with her every day'
that's so easy to believe. Sonnet on, Lori.
