to live with enthusiasm until my essence
sings like a hoedown fiddle or an operatic violin
it is here and there where I keep my soul(s)
for I have found and been enlightened
with ancient knowledge which I keep
under rigorous control and
the discovery that my life has been
a many-written manuscript of my evolution
yes! I have lived before!
in distant lands speaking other tongues
which sometimes become tangled up
with the secret of the disclosed
and the reality of the now
reality . . . a state of mind
reality can be anything you want it to be
ahhh, I have trod earth before Jesus
from mankind’s complete dissonance playing
right before their eyes
throughout it all I have sensed the rebel
in me was consistent like a perfect
tune played to perfection
oh, but the thing which causes my heart
to beat like a tom-tom heralding things to come
I have felt the sweetness of romance
and have seen into the future
the sum total of who I will metamorphose
into next . . . and he is I

Wait...I can still hear that fiddle...

And all we can do is continue the dance and journey forth...

Great write!

wow! Much thought and joy in in this piece. And to think I just thought it'd be cool to come back as a sea otter. Seriously, I agree with your thinking here.
