The Ride Take a ride with me you say only if it's free free to roam, free to hide all I'm asking for is the ride Take a little time on me you say well it don't come cheap not so easy to get inside all I'm asking for is the ride Honey if you don't like the groove just call the tune I've got the world to prove so don't close this conversation too soon money I feel like a million tonight but you set the pace I can feel the light so why can't you show it on your face such stubborn pride but then, all I'm asking for is the ride Take a ride with me you say only to see to see if this feels right but all I'm asking for is the ride Take a little time on me you say well just wait and see but you've got nothin' to hide and all I'm asking for is the ride All I'm saying tonight is that you don't have to hide I'm not asking you to come inside anyway not yet all I'm asking for is the ride one I hope you won't forget "Heaven is paved with broken glass, since your hammer struck my heart" -XTC |
