Feeling somewhat silly!!!

Midday is as black as midnight,
Silence so loud it hurts your ears.
Do not ask your maker for light,
Dark and quiet is here have a beer.

Leave your gods and deities be,
Beg not for a godly way out.
You are the cause of this, you know,
Each man his prison brings about.

If it is paradise you seek,
Try living your life so it fits.
A light will shine, words will be spoke,
And out of this jam you will get.

when the force is with us

Hi Emma. Appreciate seeing you here today. Yep, a little indepth managing can certainly create and maintain an attitude for the quicksand we always seem to be in.

What is it they say: 'God helps those who help themselves.' Well, that's all very well, but some find that rather difficult, and a helping hand from a fellow human being is very often more the order of the day. Always keen to read your work.

ah, I see you are trying to sneak a bite of serious under a spoon full of silliness. It worked, I didn't taste a thing! I do believe I detect an attitude improvement. Thanks my friend, I needed that!

Thanks Redstart, I know you are right. A helping hand in sometimes just the thing to help make things right.

Sometimes even without knowing it, Lori, we post the right kind of poems for the occasion. Thank you.
