              Only You

This wide, wild ageless galaxy
arcs above an ever-restless
   stormy sea.
The sun spins the grandest slice
of forever through the deep, dark
   eternal void
over these ‘endless’ hills
that laugh at the perpetual
roll of seasons and all our petty
human dreams and schemes.
If I were but the thief of Time
and could purloin ten thousand,
thousand years to live again,
   again, and again,
I would choose to spend each
and every one with only you.
