     The Evening Wanderer

A  late evening Zephyr
blows soft white clouds
across a thousand miles
  of vanishing Spring
until the warm crimson
long-shadow sunset and a
lovely lavender and salmon
twilight afterglow paint
the far western horizon in a
delicious mix of sky fantasies.
Then, the mystic orb of night
bathes this ancient ‘endless’
mountain lake and forest in
quick-silver silence and
penultimate tranquility ...
Only that bright vagabond moon
watches the lonely wanderer.

Dreamy, and of course anything with the moon appeals to me. The night sky wanderer (the moon) and the ones who wanderer the earth at night.

What a joy to wander through such an evening, Bruce.
