              The Gift of Love

Beneath a supernal vault of
vast and starry midnight-blue and
just beyond the toilsome, troublous
world of men’s quietest desperations,
on this lucent forest evening in
  evanescent Spring,
moonlit shadows phantom-dance
with traceless wisps of twilight mist
through these ancient ‘endless’ hills
  of deepest time;
and all ones thoughts and dreams,
transcend that which is sad, grim,
  or commonplace
to celebrate the grandest human gift
  of Love.

Love is a fickle spirit, still we strive for it.

True love is a gift and I have never been hurt by that gift. Maybe I was too much in love to notice any real  hurt. Thank you Bruce for keeping it alive.JO

Truly in such places, we can be lost to the mind. And 'endless' is the peace that they bestow. An ocean apart, but I'm  there in my own world.
