I saw your picture, it was not expected, mine was a day of work and things strings of life bound tightly at places often chafed by chance, happenstance in quest ill defined brought sites of jumbled images, and there you were smiling amidst high brows, kowtows and glitteroti, the pampered and the spoiled, my feelings roiled up inside me, I could see you wore happy as a mask guaranteeing you'd be free as long as you stayed in character, joy toy of an aging boy; I wept. ©2014 by icebox |

Yep, this is like hitting the lottery for the "joy toy." Like you said, as long as they can act the part. Loved the ending. ~*~ Sex on television can't hurt you unless you fall off. ~*~ |

Sad indeed that rich old men want vibrant young girls to make them feel young. He certainly can not beleive she loves him for who he is and not only for what his bank account reads. Best to you Charly, Jo |

I don't know if I'm reading you right, but I was hearing The Eagles.'Lyin Eyes'. We all read poems in our own way. Loved the writing style. |

Such a pleasure to read your words again. I have been absent for quite some time but your pen never fails. I too enjoyed the ending as you wrapped it up perfectly |

"you wore happy as a mask guaranteeing you'd be free" Interesting how one can pretend on the outside and be free on the inside because of it. |
