Sometimes the city is more like dying person than attractive, the characters due to observing themselves or not go out .. I walk there thus. The auction room has very beautiful objects of painting, the abstraction disappeared and I am a Peeping Tom, what can I know ?, who will be the famous painter who will shine tomorrow ? I am almost ashamed in this idea .I feel sick, not at ease and prefer to go out after a look without consequences … Who am I? I rise in my car absorbed by the necessary slowness of an exhibition of expensive painting. The reality reminds to me, an idiot woman absorbed by its small life, honks me, I allow her to pass me, I have no heart in the quarrel, nor in much, it is the law of the city to be assaulted when you are dreamy … |

I enjoyed your visit to the auction room and your reflections here, dear Yann. Precious and beautiful paintings and objects can no doubt put us in a dreamy state. An auction room exercises a strong fascination. You rendered this mood perfectly and I fully understand your reaction to the honking, which is really a fastidious noise in the city. While slowing down is recommended to become more aware of our moments, the city rarely conforms to such a rhythm! Margherita |

fine (impressionistic prose) blend of 'slice-of-life' reality and Romanticism. |

thanks Margherita for the very warm and precise comment, you point is with subtlety, there is always a gap between insideness and outsideness, between art and reality, this makes life so passionate, thanks a lot yann |
