Sentiments Distilled

In the cold dew of a starlit morning, my thoughts glisten naked to the chimes of night
My lips trace the memory of compelling voice, sung into my soul like a gypsy prayer
I, the apostle to the waves of your grin, sweet in its airiness, yet cool in its sting
And I turn away from what is ruminant truly this soul, of illusions, choking out any spark
Past tense, stopper the bottle! It is cold, let it be cold. I have no use of such sentiment!
Until I realize the sky bears no sun, and the rain that seems so warm, emanates in sacrament
The realm of day leading night by the hand, in one long journey where I love you

Great title, perfect ending... I especially loved everything in between.

Wonderful to read you here, TD.

Passion, the denial, and then the acceptance of love. Beautifully written.

The journey whether walked or not, shall always have the path of our thoughts to carry on the sentiments. Nicely written
