Left of the far right
I picked only one
from your hostess of green

the solitary rogue, stranded
as if it were planted there
just for me

in a sea of disarray
overlooked by runners and daredevil
caravans, I came upon you
mid season

where I blew wisps of white wings
to the call of the north winds

making a wish
not only for me
but for all of us

yearning

Emma, you are writing some mighty fine poetry these days. Your Muse is definitely there with you. This one is haunting, as most of your poetry is. When you made that wish not only for yourself but for everybody and dropped down and wrote "yearning," that gave it an oomph that made it very special.

Ah, dandelion wishes. It's been many a long year since I made one of those. Written with the ease and imagery of a muse in full flow. The altruistic nature of the wish adds poignancy to your poem.

A very nice dandelion write...even at my age, I still am ever hopeful at least once during  the dandelion season.

A thought, perhaps close the 'yearning' up to the last stanza, I almost didn't see it.  I added a dash after 'but for all of us', I think it gives the break that you are looking for, w/o using a actual line break.

making a wish
not only for me
but for all of us—
