Verbiage As we lean into our light as writers do, it comes to us that for all we share, all has been shared before. Ergo like the earth we spin upon the air we breathe the body we are given on loan - so are our words in order that we may utilize them well. (C) KRJ 4-23-14 |

Karilea it is a given that about every word has been said a million times and yet each time someone decides to write, those same words play out a new and sweeter scene. Enjoyed,Jo |

Yes, somehow, somewhere everything has already been said and yet inspiration is a powerful invitation to say it again ... after all there are millions of different hues of colors and every word dresses itself anew according to its creator's intentions. So let's them use well, yes, dear Karilea, as you do! Love, Margherita |

Hello, Sunshine! Reading this a while back, I enjoyed it, but as I have read it several times since, the message is beginning to permeate my thinking. I often feel that my words and thoughts are mundane, but after reading the rest of your poem and others' articulate responses, I will challenge myself to be creative on topics, realizing how uniquely the common words and thoughts can be arranged. Thanks for your inspiration! Cathy |

Hah! They like to tell us that nothing is new. I say balderdash! True, poets may write about the same things, say the moon, that has been written by poets kerjillions of times. But it is never written the same, and if it is it's called plagiarism. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

It is amazing how some people can turn simple words into something beautiful. You are one of those people, Karilea. Ida |

If words are given birth honestly, from within, they are always amalgamated to something unique. Yes, they are a privilege, but the way in which they are utilised will never meet with universal accord. Succinct poem, yet wordy enough to induce searching thought processes. |
