okay, I got it now
this whole getting together
with nature, et al
doesn’t matter if you are nice
or not so nice
you don’t have to
fall down on your knees
and knee-walk across pebble-strewn paths
the solution
the way to find what is important
is to allow your
inner grasp of the world
open your eyes
to what is all around you
and love it
you can still speak of misery
eh, you tell me yours
I’ll tell you mine
as we trade gloom and doom
look around you
at the sweet taste of rain
and the sun
which comes out
to chase rain clouds away
listen to the lovely sound of bird’s songs
ahhh . . .
no matter who you are
no matter what is your misery
nature is there
to absorb you
to heal you of your conflicts
just take a look
a smile will follow that look
you will be beguiled
hook, line and that everloving sinker

Thank you Jo. I don't write enough about nature I realize. Other things seem to take precedent. I'm warming to it however.

By jove, I think you've got it! Open up to it, is the right way to go. For example, birds #!*^# chirp at the crack of dawn but they sing their lovely morning song while you have that first cup of coffee. It is all in perspective.

Heh.Heh Those *^$@%$&) early morning bird songs are there to gently awake you and get you on your day with a smile on your face.

Back when dawn was a dirty word... I was much, much, much, younger then. I vaguely remember something about sleeping until noon back then... Oh them awful birds! (that was before I had the good sense to start drinking coffee LOL)
