what could take us away
or withhold
secrets
look to the clandestine, concealed stars
which soothe shattered thoughts
for unsullied scent
mends the shadows
allowing
the sun to apprehensively
show itself
since
irreversible selfishness
hides dark secrets

Pretty deep thoughts here my friend.
  "for unsullied scent
   mends the shadows"
is my favorite.

Much obliged, my friend Lori, don't know about it being deep, these ideas just come to me and sometimes I'm able to work them out.

Heavy thinking and a truism to ponder.
You did an outstanding job with this one.

Enjoyed, my friend!

There is a dark tumult of emotion in this one, Jerry...I can't quite put my finger on it...but maybe that is the point no?

What makes the sun so apprehensive...if not the clandestine...? Yes...there's that tension in this...that runs just below the pretty words...and pricks the soul into wariness...

great visual ...

superb ending lines in particular!

It never ceases to amaze me how vastly different
the 'writing styles' are of the poets who grace the
fine blue sands of "P.I.P-land" by the cyber-sea with
their sublime 'word-painted' tapestries ! ...
