   Time Should Never Matter

When by fate or serendipitous
   happenstance
true spirit-mates meet,
Time together or apart
should never matter
as that kind of Love lies far
beyond any place and Time
for they have been
‘within each other’
   all along!

So true, Bruce, but in reality sometimes it does matter, leaving one with heartbreak.

Taking a chance here that you are refering to the "we have been together before and we will be together again in another lifetime and death is a transition" concept. Like they say, we are spiritual beings having a human experience...So if that is the connection you are referring to, I agree. Love connects people.

I've always felt that the very best 'poetry' (if it were to have any chance to 'waft along
that immortal plane) should be left entirely to the personal interpretation of the reader.
