         The  Eternal Hope of Spring

As renewal and re-awakening
spread far and wide with a
thousand miles of Spring and
these ancient ‘endless’ hills
become the vast and bright-delicious,
sun swept uplands of our finest dreams,
perhaps  virgin hope may rise again
that love, peace, and enlightenment
shall bloom among all human neighbors
on every shore of this vast-eternal sky
for the road to ‘heaven’ lies only through
our individual and collective thoughts, acts,
   and spirit-hearts.
