   Suddenly Spring!

ancient landscape
drifting in and out
  of Time
hills upon hills
awaiting the dawn
mystic forest from
a wilderness dream
all of life reawakening
with the morning star
warm breeze teasing
a sunbeam danceā€¦

suddenly Spring!

Beautiful visuals... especially love the soft breeze and quiet stillness.

Very pretty poetry, dreampoet.

Ahhh . . . The mystic mountains you reside in has finally given you spring. I'm happy that it has. Your poem gave credence to that glorious fact.

Suddenly Spring! That is what it seems to be doing. I hope it isn't "suddenly summer"

Thank you.Bruce. I love Spring and always looked forward to it. My Conn. Homes always had all the beautiful Spring flowers as I planted more yearly. Living here in Florida has slowed me down but I still have a lot of gardens, flowering bushes and plants. In fact I can see a flower from every window of the house. Front back and both sides have plantings, only a path to walk upon. The Magnolia which was already here now towers high above the house. So the best flowers are way up high but the birds enjoy them and sing from the top daily.I planted trees and bushes every where I lived a legacy left to new owners.LOL  JO

Beautiful poem as only you can write them, Bruce. Reminds me of my childhood view of spring.
