I caught your storm
its glistening droplet
the arrow resonating
deep in the rush of
new orchards

but my heart slips
ailing of lost expectation

in lieu of the wildflowers
anemia's drought closes
the fields of first promise

collapsed on the downbeat
fade of the flowerbeds

Oh my, some days it is better, much better, to just stay in bed and cover up your head.

So sorry to hear it, EmmaRose.  Such is life.  However, you made beauty out of it.
