        Spring Upstaged

A dark-menacing grey sky
of glowering cloud, angry
northwest wind, and driving
    snow
mocks this early April day.
This is a Winter that won’t
let go of these ‘endless’ hills
and the lonely mind and heart.
Love and hope and Spring
seem so very, very far away
in some nether-world of
    nebulous dreams.

Interesting way you structure your writing.

I haven't seen a structure like this, I mean, there are similarities to other styles I've seen, but you have your own unique energy that resonates between the words. As if each word is linked with a nice, permeating feeling.

I enjoyed it. I'll definitely be looking out for more of your posts in the future.

nope ... It's a brand new poem; however, I couldn't use the word Spring twice in there (too redundant) so I just stuck in April since it will be here on Tues. anyway ...

It has only been very, very seldom that I re-posted any previous and/or re-worked 'writes.'

... it is still snowing heavily here in the 'endless' mts. of ol' Appalachia (unpredicted storm) ...

The weather is beautiful here and my flowers are blooming. The only problem is an occasional earthquake.
