Fair to middlin' of nowhere

This is my acknowledgement of recent visitors to the Blue Room who came from who knows where to delight us, then off for who knows how long…

Where have all those poets gone,
Long time no posting,
Where have all those poets gone,
Long time ago,
Where have all those poets gone,
Gone to new sites every one?
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the new sites gone
Long time no posting,
Where have all the new sites gone,
Long time ago,
Where have all the new sites gone,
Gone to pay first every one,
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Oh I have no doubt the whiz kids will return, never fear. Just have to struggle along with us slow thinkers until they come back.

Good sentiment. . I enjoyed this.

The flow your words had seemed extremely natural. That's a plus for me whenever I read poetry. It makes for nice music in my head.

Lori - Life sometimes gets in the way but I'm guessing that a lot of the poets are still reading if not posting.  I've been guilty of that.  But, as they say, there's a time for all things and maybe the time for poetry for some of them has passed.

I've been wondering that myself.

I have thought about this and was wondering if they think some of the poets hog the space...not saying if thats good or bad and I may be guilty of it...but its one thought...another thought, some write profusely and some write rarely...James
