last night
it rained until morning
a thin rain
with a gusty wind
I awake with a slight headache
cheap California burgundy
hangover
I speak to her
as she opens the blinds
for the blinding sun to enter the room
have you gone crazy?
I ask
she leaves the room humming to herself
soon I smell bacon cooking
smells good and I’m starving
it was a wild night
trying to put out her fire
I feel like Superman
