A poet we'll simply call Peter
Went fooling around his gas heater.
He set off a spark
and was heard to remark,
"An inadvertent explosion will typically play hell with your anapest meter."

Hah! Sounds as if that would be the case, not that I would know anything at all about an anapest meter except that it is two short and one long syllables. (I looked it up, Ron, I had no idea what you were talking about.)
