Crisp and clear each note rings,
of this lovers waltz we hear

From across the great hall
we make our way to one another

With an ever so subtle smile
you reach out your hand

I draw it to my lips and place
my arm slowly about your waist

We begin to move together and without so much
as a flutter, our eyes become full
with each others presence

'I am yours and you are mine' they seem to say,
for whatever time we have together

Just us two alone with no thoughts past ourselves,
flowing through flood rushes of warm emotions

Then, all too soon, the music draws down and begins to fade away

As it does you begin to fade away along with it

...until I can see you no more

            *** "Get up you lazy bum and get your ass to work!" ***

                    'Alright, alright...put the damn broom down will ya'!

Touch, but don't look

I was swooning with the sweet music and fell into laughter at the very end...very sweet and oh so true. I'm still laughing
