I'm going,in my mind,my heart, numbing inside, to a whisper in a long room, shadowed shapes moving slowly my only witnesses, but any company is welcome. Counting dark clouds passing across the moon, like the moods moving through my thoughts. Languishing in the lushness of living in predicatively insane patterns of hopelessness of a life bereft of emotion, of light;oh how i am comforted by the blackness of my being and mind, hiding easily at rest there, where nobody can find me, sleeping, walking in infrared graininess to see those who wish to find a soul, long ago gone, just a burnt ember shell, that once burned crucible orange. |

I can relate. At least I can relate having these feeling in times past. I found a way out of my dark, and hope you will be able to do so also, if this is a for real situation and not something you wrote just to write a poem. ~*~ There was a sign on the lawn at a drug re-hab center that said 'Keep off the Grass'. ~*~ |

A sad lamentation. You appear so mellow and fulfilled GR. Maybe just another book cover passing before me. At least one of your old poetically-inclined pals will lift your spirits here at PiP and I'm certain they'll be happy to see you've returned. There's a need. Touch, but don't look |
