whirling thoughts
and swirling snow
Life’s Winter
pardons none

We are as
the snowflakes
dancing for a
   moment
then lost

ten thousands
dancing snowflakes
and the Winter wind
know as much as I

startled by the midnight
there is only snowy silence

standing by this frozen-
   twilight river
when will it flow away
into a long Spring day

Above the pines
there is only snow
Beneath the pines
there is only snow
footprints fading
   into time

In the snowy forest
there is only time,
silence, and this
never ending  tao

Summer – Winter
Winter – Summer
which is more real
fireflies or snowflakes

a thousand silent
snow-bound hills
poverty, melancholy,
and bitter regrets
Winter brethren

from the heart
of the storm
evening bells
stir the loneliness

midnight
and Winter
my birth
my life
my heart
no matter

midnight window
Winter chill
piping for the
blood to dance

a shrill Winter wind
pipes the snowflake
    dance
all time and direction
    lost

with the snowfall
a white heron
vanishes

with only word-painted
dreams, and moonlight
how can I keep you?

lost
love
leaves
no
trace
of
itself

"with only word-painted

How profound. This one really spoke to me.
You got some good stuff going on right here!

Thanks Lori and Max for your comment/reply posts on this 'write!'

I know not truly
what Life is nor
what Death is
but I must believe ...
that Love is stronger
  than both
