the joys of flight
are not known
to birds of the air

it's their nature to do so
the joy resides in those
who observe them

...and wonder

Yes! We have roller pidgeons and I have often wondered what it is like to do summersaults in the air--well that is until one of them forgets to pull up and hits the ground (Ouch!)

And much joy in the wondering.  That is our nature... one of the most overlooked gifts of humanity.  Astute observation, gave me pause to smile.  Thank you.
