thistles tickle me
burdock pleases my palate
compared to her stare

every moment
of every day,
I live with her fears

she's stays in my house
playing in the pretty rooms
where the walls are soft

she says she loves me
then pulls out her knives
and I bleed again

she has no one else.
those she left behind
well, they're just gone

...maybe I'll be next

why do I stay on
to live through
this hell of hers?

I know the reason...

it's those other times
when her madness
slips away and she lays with me

but it never lasts
soon after love's light dims
she grows darker

then she must go back
back to the little room I made for her
where the walls are soft

and we keep secrets don't we
my insane lover?
...secrets to die fo

Touch, but don't look

Ah, playing grownup games hurts, doesn't it, Jack?
