Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Honey
I need
to talk
to you

eye to eye
heart to heart

I have a question

If I didn’t hug you
would you hug me

Yes
I know you hug me now
you hug me back
when I hug you

you never
hug me first

No
I don’t need
more affection

No
I don’t need
you to change
what you’re doing

I just want you
to hug me
once in a while

Just a hug
no more
no less

That is all I need
from you

Yes
Just like that

I love you too

Wonderful conversation and satisfying to boot.

It was hard for this gray person to speak black and white but I managed.  Thanks Jerry!

Warm & fuzzy, especially when they would all oblige at the same time.

Not to mention 'let's all jump on the rabbit'!

It was the bunny in me I guess. After all, we had 4 of 'em.

Great post. Your happy face is showing again.

Thanks Max. Yes I do count myself among the warm and fuzzy (to a fault) Gosh, I haven't done the bunny hop since high school!
Yes my smile is back, thanks for noticing.

I don't know if asking for a hug is that good of an idea. What I mean is, I would expect a less sincere hug if I were to ask for it. I'm a bit more spontaneous and love a hug and outward shows of affection. I know that if I just up and hug someone in the fam, they really like it. When I receive one, it's great too, no doubt!

Sometimes, some people, kids, whomever, just don't like to or for some reason feel a bit inhibited. Sometimes it's just one of those phases that you have to live with for an undetermined time.

Consider a virtual hug attached to my reply here. It's yours if you want it. If you don't, that's okay. Just remember I put it here for you, no strings attached.

Thanks for the hug Jack!  I think what's going on here is that my husband gets so many hugs from me he never is in need of one.  In his mind he was hugging me all the time.  I think it's all good now.
