Fair to middlin' of nowhere

If you’ve not the calling
nor the inclination
to bleed your soul on paper
If you haven’t the steel
to share your emotional entrails
with strangers…

Then there is no comprehending
the precious still
of early mornings
or late at nights

There is no appreciation
of poetic process
from conception’s magic
and writing’s craft
to interacting
with other’s eyes and ears

There is only fear
and loathing
of the unknown…

When you're right you're right. Your Muse is working overtime these days.

Seems to be Jerry.  I don't question it anymore, I just go with the flow as far as it will take me. Thanks for commenting.

Internet forums have been so incredibly awesome in all respects.

Mostly fun for me, yet always a platform (or soapbox) to reach out into that unknown. Inviting even, if you will, someone to pull me around by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin!

You can't do that at the Green Door!

Did I mention that this was a great post?
It is.

I like the Blue Buffet
I came and played
and never strayed
Your comment made my day.

We never really conquer fears, we just learn how to capture them temporarily..

Until they revolt and gain their freedom once more..

Yes, the morning sol bleeds on the dawn every morning..

So why shouldn't we..

You are the most homophonic person I know and I just love it. Thank you!
