Time savors its victory For which I have no defense So I spend the whiles delicately Immersed in the memory of you I once thought the sea was telling But no, it was just me listening Listening for the sound of our breathing And the voices known only to you and I Your thick raven hair lying over my shoulder Your dark eyes limpid and possessing Slowly tracing paths to my own Your soft comforting arms around me Then... Days are longer now and shadows show the best of me But I still see, feel, and smell the rapture of those days When time was more obedient And we were so restless within it ...just bein' Bluesy |

Bluesy Makes a person say ahhh, or is it awwh, or just plain sigh? Very romantic. Perfect for the day! Happy VDay Lori |

Very, very beautiful, Bluesy. The last stanza brought tears to my eyes. Owl |
