Sabula moon

your tail skims
the surface
of the waters
like a ribbon of silk

you shyly come close
with a splash
of the big rivers breaker

ah!

tickle my feet Sabula moon
tickle my lovers' heart

tell her I'm here with you, Sabula moon

tell her I'm coming home soon,
following your ribbon of silk

tell her Sabula moon,
that I cannot see her
without you

I feel such serenity here, bittersweet serenity.  It's beautiful.  Thank you, Blues.

Sabula is a small island town, Iowa's only island within the Mississippi. It was there that 'Sabula Moon' was written.

Five hours later I was home.

Thanks for all the reads.
