I have noticed a tendency for the male of our species to oft times regress to a more primal behavior When standing by a door instincts take over They are again the protector blocking entry to their lair To their position modern day they have become oblivious a’la standing in the way They will continue to talk or whatever it is they abide when you slip, nudge, push them aside As if held with invisible hinges they move back into place filling the gap with their girth All is well they are full of good wishes and mirth as they stand more oft than not between a woman her kitchen and dishes LGR©2/5/14 |
