Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2014-02-05 07:26 AM

Winds howling
like dogs past
feeding time

Snow swirling
under a clear
twinkling sky

Shifting like sand
in a desert’s
moonless night

Creating drifts
Frozen sculptures
in motion

A foreign
white landscape
barricades

Yes, the falling snow does bring out the inspiration in you I see. This is very good, Lori.

Thanks Richy for your kind words. It has been a very impressive snow storm. Some of the snow formations on the front porch are incredibly beautiful.

I love the pictures you've painted here, Lori, and the very apt descriptions.  A drifter by nauture, I could picture myself coming upon all of them.  Nicely done.

Thanks Michael! I wish I had taken some pictures and felt more comfortable with posting graphics and I would have posted pics of my inspiration.
