Potpourri of Wintry Zen

where is the dust
of ten thousand
generations?

all glory is fleeting___
life is the morning
    mist

you ask
where does my
heart live___
in these ‘endless’
mountain-forests

give thanks
for another day
sing a melody
to the setting sun
in harmony
with the rising
   moon

As Winter tightens
its grip … chills drip
from a frosty sky

North South
East West ___
what is direction
without love?

A thousand ‘endless’
mountains
Ten thousand
wilderness ways___
Perhaps we have
walked them all?

A falling star
over sky and
mountains
colored Winter
   cold

Moon in wander
with whispering
wind and waterfall
in a Winter dream

with heart full
and mind at rest
my soul grows quiet
in the radiance
of your love

Not so different than watching the Northern Lights ... each thought uniquely beautiful
